Update from Dunottar Voice

Announcement from Directors of Dunottar Voice

The Directors have decided that the operation of the above company, which was brought into being in order to facilitate the efforts to keep Dunottar as an independent and separate school, has now served its purpose and is no longer necessary. All fees and costs associated with the action support group have been settled by the company and its continued operation will only incur additional costs for no direct benefit. Therefore an application for the striking off of the company has been made to Companies House and a formal notice will appear in the London Gazette.

A copy of the final accounts are available for inspection should anyone wish to see these. Please contact Tim Howe on This email address is being protected from spambots. At the closing of the company there was still a significant sum of money remaining from the fund raising efforts last year. The Directors decided that this should be used in a project that would benefit the whole school and therefore a sum of £41,000 was provided towards the cost of the library refurbishment. There will be a suitable plaque placed within the library to provide a record of the efforts of Dunottar Voice members and the donation of monies”
